Terms of use
These terms apply when you use Saddle Up, whether you are booking rides or running a riding centre.
Your account
You must be 18 or over to hold an account. Keep your sign-in details to yourself, give accurate information, and keep it up to date — riding decisions are made from what you tell us. A guardian is responsible for the profiles they create for children.
What Saddle Up does and does not do
Saddle Up is the booking and operations platform. The riding itself is provided by the riding centre, which is responsible for its horses, staff, facilities, insurance and licensing, and for the session you attend. Your contract for the ride is with the centre.
Our safety, welfare and allocation checks are rules that help centres make good decisions. They do not replace a centre's own judgement and are not a guarantee of suitability.
Bookings, payment and cancellation
A request becomes a booking when the centre confirms it. Prices, deposits and the cancellation terms are set by each centre and shown before you book. Changes and cancellations follow that centre's policy; contact them through your booking if plans change.
Safety information you give us
You must tell us about anything that affects your safety on a horse — health conditions, injuries, medication, weight and riding experience — and keep an emergency contact on file. A centre can refuse or change a booking if information is missing, inaccurate, or if conditions on the day make riding unsafe for you or the horse.
Riding centres
If you run a centre here, you confirm you are licensed and insured to offer the activities you list, that your listing is accurate, and that you will use rider information only to run their sessions safely. Horse welfare limits in the platform must not be circumvented; staff overrides are recorded.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service: no abusive or misleading messages, no attempts to reach other people's records, no automated scraping, and no uploading content you do not have the right to use. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms.
Availability and liability
We work to keep Saddle Up available but cannot promise it will never be interrupted. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or anything else that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise our liability to you is limited to the fees you paid us.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Questions: hello@saddle-up.app.
